Born in 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, 2030

Those born under the sign of the dog are honest and faithful to those they love but they tend to worry too much and find fault with others. People of this sign possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire others since they can keep secrets.

The Dog will never let you down. They are plagued by constant worry, have a sharp tongue, and a tendency to finder fault. A very loyal and sweet person, alas, their loyalty can never be doubted.

They are sincere when it comes to their attitude towards working. They have a very simple persona and absolutely hassle-free, humble and down-to-earth. That explains the reason why their friends cling on to them! They have a good taste for clothes. If their wardrobe is not updated with what is trendy, they tend to become depressed.

Popular and easy-going, they have a little group of dignified friends, all of them being quality-personified.

Yang Energy

Yang energy is related to light, sun, brightness, heaven, time, south, east and left. In ancient times when the daily cycle of night and day were noted, it was thought that day corresponded to yang and yin corresponded to night. Since one usually traveled and worked during the day, yang came to be associated with activity, while yin came to be associated with rest because at night, one rested.

Metal

Metal represents our mental activity such as intellect and the ability to reason, memory, thoughts, knowledge and comprehension. Metal governs organization, order, communication, the mind, setting limits, and protecting boundaries. It also rules new beginnings, friendship, clarity, and positive expression. The Metal personality is very good at making decisions and carrying them through.

Romance Personality

People with primary ROMANCE traits can rapidly make emotional connections with family, friends, customers and co-workers. Their engaging presentation style keeps people focused on them and what they are communicating. They make decisions using a visceral approach. The 5 defining ROMANTIC personality characteristics include: expressive, intuitive, impulsive, social, and transparent.

West

The West offers more conclusions in our lives along with mature stability, actual, physical wisdom, the “root connection” or grounding of spirit and our interpersonal achievement of goals. As the sun sets, we are made aware of the precious moments we may have left, in accordance with the time we have been given. This realization helps with understanding and completion along with reminiscent thoughts.

3rd Trine

The twelve Chinese Zodiac signs are divided into four categories of three signs each, known as Trines

The third trine consists of the Tiger, Horse, and Dog. These three signs seek one another and are like-minded in their pursuit of humanitarian causes. Each is a gifted orator and excels at verbal communication. Relationships and personal contact are of highest priority and each one seek their intimate soulmate. Idealistic and impulsive, these animals follow the beat of their own drummer. Defiant against injustice, these three signs wilt without large amounts of physical affection and loyal support for causes. They are productive, enthusiastic, independent, engaging, dynamic, and honorable. They can also be rash, rebellious, quarrelsome, hot-headed, reckless, anxious, moody, disagreeable, stubborn, and selfish.

Your Inner Persona

The animal representing your birth month determines your “inner persona”; the person you wish you could be. This is the personality you long to express to the world, but have reservations being that type of personality.

The Chinese Zodiac is based on astrology so the month you were born in with the position of the sun in the sky, determines your more emotional persona, much like your moon sign. Another way of looking up more information about the month you were born in, click on the month of your birth under the grid below. Remember: your “secret animal” persona exemplifies many traits you wish you could show others..

Secret Persona

Based on your TIME OF BIRTH, your secret animal is thought to be a person’s “secret persona” or your truest representation, since this animal is determined by the smallest denominator: a person’s birth hour. This animal represents the person you are but, that you prevent the rest of the world from knowing about.

The Chinese Zodiac is based on astrology so those 2-hour increments of time coincide with the position of the sun in the sky, not the time on your local clock. Remember: The sun’s position isn’t lead by daylight savings time or Greenwich mean time so be sure you’re calculating your birth time accurately or you may end up with the wrong secret animal.

People with primary ROMANTIC traits can rapidly make emotional connections with family, friends, customers and co-workers. The 5 defining ROMANTIC personality characteristics include:

1. Expressive: A ROMANTIC personality uses facial expressions, body language and vocal intonation to communicate and add emphasis to their messages. Their engaging presentation style keeps people focused on them and what they are communicating.

2. Intuitive: A ROMANTIC personality makes decisions using a visceral approach. They Instinctively migrate to a decision or idea based upon “feeling” rather than hard data. Their emotional intuition allows them to sense how others are feeling and immediately adjust their message to resonate with the receiver.

3. Impulsive: A ROMANTIC personality reacts quickly to others and to information. They have a tendency to go with their gut intution instead of giving it much thought.

4. Social: A ROMANTIC personality is approachable and gregarious. They usually build instant rapport with strangers, friends, customers and colleagues, which allows them to excel in positions that require strong interpersonal skills.

5. Transparent: Someone with a ROMANTIC personality have difficulty masking emotions; therefore, situations that require negotiation and “bluffing” are difficult for them. They where their “heart out on their sleeve.”

The Five Personalities

In psychology, the Big Five personality traits are five broad domains or dimensions of personality that are used to describe human personality. The theory based on the Big Five factors is called the Five Factor Model(FFM). The Big Five factors are:

Openness: (inventive/curious vs. consistent/cautious). Appreciation for art, emotion, adventure, unusual ideas, curiosity, and variety of experience. Openness reflects the degree of intellectual curiosity, creativity and a preference for novelty and variety. Some disagreement remains about how to interpret the openness factor, which is sometimes called “intellect” rather than openness to experience.

Conscientiousness: (efficient/organized vs. easy-going/careless). A tendency to show self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for achievement; planned rather than spontaneous behavior; organized, and dependable.

Extroversion: (outgoing/energetic vs. solitary/reserved). Energy, positive emotions, urgency, assertiveness, sociability and the tendency to seek stimulation in the company of others, and talkativeness.

Agreeableness: (friendly/compassionate vs. cold/unkind). A tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than suspicious and antagonistic towards others.

Neurotic: (sensitive/nervous vs. secure/confident). The tendency to experience unpleasant emotions easily, such as anger, anxiety, depression, or vulnerability. Neurotic also refers to the degree of emotional stability and impulse control, and is sometimes referred by its low pole – “emotional stability”.

The Big Five model is a comprehensive, empirical, data-driven research finding. Identifying the traits and structure of human personality has been one of the most fundamental goals in all of psychology. The five broad factors were discovered and defined by several independent sets of researchers. These researchers began by studying known personality traits and then factor-analyzing hundreds of measures of these traits (in self-report and questionnaire data, peer ratings, and objective measures from experimental settings) in order to find the underlying factors of personality.
