Cancer: The Resourceful Crab (June 22 – July 23)

The Crab is emotionally sensitive, often domestic and can be defensive. They are naturally protective, seem to be late-bloomers, and exhibit a very brave persona. Cancer is the most vain sign of the zodiac. Cancers are protective, sensitive, tenacious, retentive, resourceful, self-contained, family and home oriented, maternal, security-oriented, warm, and patriotic. Ruled by the moon and the water element, they make this sign extremely emotional.

They will find their emotions washing over them, sometimes very unexpectedly. Their shell represents their home, which they always carry with them, as this sign loves a safe, peaceful home. There is a dual introverted-extroverted nature about Cancer. They love to pop out of their shell and be around other people, even crowds.

You can have a nervous stomach that results in issues that may not seem related, yet they are. Women should be aware of their breast health and urinary tracts and men, their heart and lung health. You are a candidate for mood swings and making mountains out of mole hills.

Exercises like swimming or walking by the sea are good ways to keep your moods in check. Eating sensibly without overindulging is the key.

Happiness is an expression of gratitude. Research has found that a great deal of unhappiness stems from negative thoughts. Happiness is not just a life lived by accumulating moments of pleasure. Happiness is a rhythm, an order, a balance. We choose to be happy.

Cancers can be happy people. Your domestic home life makes you happy. Projects around the home or garden, long walks outdoors and stepping through your own front door will keep you the most happy and at ease.

Our “sexual-esteem” or positive reverence for and confidence in our capability to experience our sexuality in a satisfying and enjoyable way are all a part of our sexual health and a very important part of our well being. Our most sexual organ is the brain! Our minds can create the most perfect fantasies or sexual relationship. It is the power of our minds that can enhance the desired sexual experiences and is what realizes our sexual pleasure.

Cancers are sexual beings. Your sexuality runs deep and dark. Obstacles, often of your own creation, can get in your way.
