Numerology Reading

Numerology is any study of the divine, mystical or other special relationships between a number and some coinciding observation or perceived events. It has many systems, traditions and beliefs. Numerology and numerological divination by systems such as Isopsephy were popular among early mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of mathematics and are regarded as metaphysics or pseudoscience by modern scientists.

Modern numerology often contains aspects of a variety of ancient cultures and teachings, including Babylonia, Pythagoras, astrological philosophy, early Christian mysticism, early Gnostics, the Hebrew system of the Kabbalah, The Hindu Vedas, the Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui and The Book of the Master of the Egyptian Doctrine of the Light.

Pythagoras made influential contributions to philosophy and religious teaching in the late 6th century BC. He is often revered as a great mathematician, mystic and scientist, but he is best known for the Pythagorean theorem, which bears his name. He believed that because mathematical concepts were more “practical’ (easier to regulate and classify) than physical ones, they had greater actuality.

The Pythagoras Chart is one main contribution for determining how numbers influence who we are.

Here is a basic example

Using a first, middle and last name, such as Jason Fredrick Alexander:

Jason is 1 + 1 + 1 + 6 + 5 = 14 (reduced to 1 + 4) = 5

Fredrick is 6 + 9 + 5 + 4 + 9 + 9 + 3 + 2 = 47 (reduces to 4 + 7) = 11 (this is a Master number, do not reduce this further)

Alexander is 1 + 3 + 5 + 6 + 1 + 5 + 4 + 5 + 9 = 39 (reduces to 3 + 9 = 12) reduces to (1 + 2) = 3

So, 5 + 11 + 3 = 19 (reduces to 9 + 1 = 10) reduces (1 + 0) = your Expression: Number 1

The 5 Building Blocks

The main numbers or “Core Numbers”, are the 5 building blocks or numbers that make up who you are. These 5 numbers are: your Life Path number, your Expression number, your Personality number, your Heart’s Desire number and your Birth Day number.

Each one is based off of your personal birth name and/or birth date and has its own impact on your persona. Here is a breakdown of your core numbers:

The Life Path Number

1. Your Life Path number is the single most important number in your numerology chart, because it acts as a blueprint outlining how your life will play out. Opportunities and challenges faced along the way are heavily influenced by the Life Path including your general character and course of action as you journey through your life. Based off of the numbers in your full birth date, your Life Path number represents your entire being and will never change.

The Expression Number

2. Your Expression number represents your natural strengths and weaknesses given to you at your time of birth. Often referred to as the Destiny number, moving you towards your goal in life, this number is the foundation on which your Life Path can grow and express itself. Based off of the numbers that correspond to the letters in your full name, your Expression number reveals the talents and abilities found in you at birth.

The Personality Number

3. Your Personality number is the first impression people get of you. It represents the parts of yourself that you are most ready and willing to reveal, and helps you determine just how much you reveal, and to whom. This number acts as a buffer, screening out some people and situations you seem not to want to deal with while welcoming the things in life that relate to your inner nature. Your Personality number is based on only the consonants in your name.

The Heart’s Desire Number

4. Your Heart’s Desire number represents your inner fire. This number shows the reasons behind your actions and What you really want in life as well as in love? It is behind all choices you make in your life including your career and your relationships. Your Heart’s Desire number is based on just the vowels in your name. If you really pay attention to your heart’s desire, you will always fulfill your dreams!

The Birthday Number

5. Your Birth Day number is just that, the day on which you were born. It reveals a certain talent that will eventually find its place on your Life Path. While it’s the most insignificant of the core numbers, the Birth Day number puts a time stamp on the person you are today according to one single aspect that will ultimately impact your life in a big way. Your Birth Day number is simply the date of your birth. That is, it is only the number of the day you were born on (not the month and year).

Your Core Number

These 5 numbers make you your “core” or who you are!  Master numbers usually double and increase the power of features concerned with corresponding core numbers (for 11 it is 2 and for 22 it is 4), making the manifestation of the characteristic more explicit. These numbers are also a sign of high intellectual potential of a person and adds to the strength of your character.

1. Determining your Life Path number

First, reduce each unit of your birth date (month/day/year) to a single digit or a Master number (Master numbers are 11, 22 and 33). Next, add each of the resulting digits (or Master numbers) together and reduce the total again to a single digit, or Master number.

For example, if you were born on October 12, 1925, you would calculate your Life Path as follows:

Month: October is the 10th month of the year. 10 reduces to 1 (1 + 0 = 1).

Day: The date of birth is 12. 12 adds up to 3 (1 + 2 = 3).

Year: The year of birth is 1925. 1925 adds up to 8 (1 + 9 + 2 + 5 = 17, then 1 + 7 = 8

Now add the resulting single-digit numbers: 1 + 3 + 8 = 12. 12 reduces to 3 (1 + 2 = 3) The Life Path number is 3.

2. Determining your Expression number

Write out your full name you were given at birth (first, middle and last). Then, use The Pythagoras guide below and place the numerical value below each of the letters. Next, add the numbers of your first name and reduce them it to a single digit. Do the same for your middle and last names. Finally, add the three single digit numbers together, then reduce them to another single digit number to reveal your Expression number. If you have a Master number (11, 22 or 33) in any of your reductions, do not reduce it any further.

For example: Jason Fredrick Alexander

Jason is 1 + 1 + 1 + 6 + 5 = 14 (reduced to 1 + 4) = 5

Fredrick is 6 + 9 + 5 + 4 + 9 + 9 + 3 + 2 = 47 (reduces to 4 + 7) = 11 (this is a Master number, do not reduce this further)

Alexander is 1 + 3 + 5 + 6 + 1 + 5 + 4 + 5 + 9 = 39 (reduces to 3 + 9 = 12) reduces to (1 + 2) = 3

So, 5 + 11 + 3 = 19 (reduces to 9 + 1 = 10) reduces (1 + 0) = an Expression number of 1
