Description
This is sacred blessing oil from Fatima.
In the early 20th century, an event took place in which three local children, Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, purportedly saw visions of a woman known as Our Lady of Fátima, since believed by the Catholic Church to be the Virgin Mary. On 13 May 1917, while guarding their families’ sheep in the Cova da Iria, the children first claimed to have seen an apparition of a “lady dressed in white” and shining with a bright light.
The sacred blessing oil is regional olive oil that has been consecrated by the church during a “blessing of the gifts” on October 13th, 2024.
I have brought back this oil in beautiful 1 once glass anointing bottles, with a rose crowned top, which also has an image of our Lady and three visionaries on the front.
The oil can be used to bless and anoint the sick, cleanse, and purify your altar or prayer gifts such as rosaries, medals, and prayer books. Massage a few drops into your forehead, temples, and pulse points. Work some oil into your pendants or anything that needs an extra blessing.
