Medjugorje (which means “between the hills”), is a small mountain town located in western Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Herzegovina region, close to the border of Croatia. Since June 24, 1981, it has become a popular religious pilgrimage due to reports of apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to six local children. This is my fifth journey to this peaceful place and once again, it has left me with joy and tranquility and how the magic of nature plays such a major role in any sacred place.
Pearl: In tune with emotions, water, and women, especially pregnant women, pearls are a symbol of pure heart and mind; innocence and faith. Because it is from the sea, it has watery and lunar elements, therefore it is used for balancing emotions, especially for water signs. Remember, Pearl is the result of layer upon layer of substance produced to combat irritation. Pearl is cooling, soothing and nurturing.
The Color Pink: Pink represents the inner journey of the heart. It is the steps we take to connect with our spiritual sense of love and compassion. Pink brings us to an emotional state of acceptance. It offers a balancing combination between action and understanding that we cannot receive from any other color in the light spectrum. Pink helps us to look within. It soothes the most hardened of hearts by releasing insecurity.
These amazing pearl rosary is hand-made from real pink pearls. They were blessed by the Virgin Mary in her apparition to the visionary, Ivan on August 10th, 2018 in the “blessing of the articles”. This rosary is accented with a pewter crucifix with Mary & Christ on one side and the word Medjugorje and Mir, Mir, Mir (peace, peace, peace) on the back.
