Music Therapy: Light As Air!  Associated with the elements, the Fall season and as one of the representative of the signs of the zodiac including Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius, “air” possesses the virtue of knowledge.
“The lift and lilt of gentle breeze,
can show its other face, you see,
when wind begins to whip and blow,
from hurricane to icy snow,
that hits or smoothly rushes by,
these many personalities a stride,
we just accept and let it pass,
this ever changing, rich air mass.”
Music has always played a major part in my life. Music continues to give me life changing moments and memories. I am forever grateful for this art and therapy. On my visit to the desert, I was reminded, through the silence, how air (and wind) represent flexibility and our ability to experience life through many prisms. These songs cross several eras, yet they ring true for me as they encourage movement, represent freedom and the amazing way Air can be expressed in song. I call this list:
