Pink Energy

~ Pink gives power towards love and self-love. It is the color from red with passion and white with purity. This is the color of forgiveness.

PINK: is the (tertiary blend) of red and white. The “energetics” of pink will depend on the amount of red that is added to white. White represents the entire visible light spectrum that a human can see. It is all the colors together. It represents complete energy and fullness or wholeness.

Red is the color in the spectrum with the longest visible wavelength. It represents movement, motivation and heat. When added to white, red softens its glow and takes on the properties of both colors. Therefore, it is used as a great neutralizer.

Pink is associated with the Heart Chakra.  It represent the soothing love and purest joy of our emotions!  It has come to also represent the power of awareness in the fight against breast cancer.  The “pink ribbon” campaign started a movement in order to bring attention to the connection between women, the breast, the heart and the power of the “sacred feminine”. This healing color offers comfort and understanding.

A Pink Moment

Pink light has been shown to diffuse aggressive behavior or excessive turbulence in any relationship. Situations that appear threatening can be scattered with the use of limited exposure from pink light energy. The whiter within pink, the safer and more confident a situation can become. Often considered a feminine energy because of its soft and gentle nature, pink really benefits both males and females as its source for balancing these energies, either between two people or balancing the yin/yang energy within ourselves. It allows for our more tender, generous and caring qualities to emerge, equalizing those energies which tend to skew in one direction or another. When people are wearing pink, they appear approachable and capable of loving others.

Color and Aromatherapy

The marriage of color and scent have long had strong associations. Often, when we see a color, we can sense the type of scent that could accompany it.  The color of the flower can be a direct correlation with the oils they produce.

Green = pine, eucalyptus, vetiver
Rose/Red = roses, geraniums, tulips
Purple/Indigo = lavender, lilac

But sometimes, the direct association is not obvious and the color can often be found in the hue of the leaves or the tint of the inner workings, we only get a glimpse of.  This is the case with red. Here are some of the most popular essential oils associated with red:
~
Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Jasmine, Benzoin, Sage, White Camphor, Myrrh, Cabbage Rose, Red Rose, Red Thyme
