You may not realize it, but you just might be repelling your future love away from you!  You may be jeopardizing your current relationship just by the way your home is set up!  What is it, that unites our energy, or can actually pull us apart?  It is the relationship of Vibration or Attraction. See how this ancient “art of placement”, can change your life

Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shway) is the ancient Chinese art of placement to enhance the flow of “vital life energy” known as Qi. Practitioners believe that rooms, buildings and all environments can be arranged and decorated in a way that maximizes the flow of Qi and resulting in improvements to health and happiness of those who live in that environment. Whether it’s finding someone new, enhancing a marriage or building a relationship, The fine Art of Feng Shui can help in your life.

Focus on the Southwest Portion of your Home

The primary direction that governs love, romance and relationships, as well as motherhood, is Southwest. Its corresponding number is two because it takes two to create a relationship; the element is earth; the shape is square or rectangle; and the color is yellow. Perhaps this is why we tie a yellow ribbon to convey a message of love for those from whom we have been separated.

Create a romance area in the Southwest corner of your bedroom. Remove clutter such as piled up books, clothes and items from the corners. Place items in twos such as photos, illustrations, sculptures of you and your loved one; or place items in twos such as candles, crystals, figurines.

Candles and Peonies

If you are single, place two red or yellow candles in this corner. Use hearts, roses and other flowers, but especially peonies. Peonies have always symbolized marriage and fidelity to the Chinese. Arrangements of this beautiful flower are ideal for displaying in your daughter’s bedroom or in the hall outside her room to ensure her finding a good partner. If you are married, place peonies in your living room, but not in your bedroom.

Earth Elements

Items from the earth or items made of earthy materials are perfect on a table or shelf in the Southwest corner. Other things you can place here are anything ceramic, terra cotta, clay, porcelain, china, stones, plaster, resin, pebbles or shells from the beach. Basically earth materials, especially crystals, if they are in the shape of hearts, it magnifies their significance. Anything you put out must be in multiples of two.

Chimes and Happiness

“Energy- the strength and wisdom present in the Dragon’s Cosmic Breath”. According to ancient wisdom, the gentle sounds of chimes will help create a balance of natural energies and attract happiness and good fortune to your home according to the original book of wisdom, the I Ching. A windcatcher at the base can be especially helpful to reflect and refract light, further enhancing the chimes beneficial properties. It is recommended to hang chimes above a door or in the West or Northwest corner of your home. Wind chimes will also cure bad feng shui, as they not only notify you when someone is entering your space, but also disperse bad Qi and replace it with good.

Swarovski Crystal

This magnificent faceted crystal will fill your room with rainbows! Austrian crystals are one of the principal objects used to clear energy blockages in the ancient Chinese art of placement. Place in window or an area where light will hit and refract into beautiful rainbows

Clear Quartz Points

These are thought to amplify both body energy and thoughts. It can assist in the creation of power, clarity of thinking, meditation, cleansing, clearing the aura, spiritual development and healing. Quartz Points are considered the “stone of power”. Place two quartz points, two quartz tumblestones, a Twin quartz, two Rose Quartz, two Rhodochrosite, two Rhodonite, or two Aventurine in your Southwest corner.

Consider these relationship Don’ts

Do not install any sort of water feature such as a fountain, pictures of the sea or water images in your bedroom or on the yin side of your front entrance. The yin side is the right side of the door as you face out of your house’s front door. To do so is to attract a competitor for your partner’s affections into your household, leading ultimately to the possibility of infidelity. The Water element douses the flame of desire and encourages tears.

Do not have pictures of three people in the Southwest corner of your bedroom.

Do not put any wooden or green items in the Southwest area as wood destroys earth in the element relationship chart.

Other directions that can also be enhanced are East (green, wood, dragon, 3); for harmony and family, Northwest (gray/silver, metal, 6); for helpful people and interests outside the home, West (silver/gold, metallics, 7, metal) for teamwork.

Before implementing your Feng Shui measures, concentrate less on finding the right person and focus on becoming the right person with whom someone would want a relationship. Feng shui must be practiced with intention and in harmony with the emotional/spiritual, physical and intellectual aspects of your life.
