Cuts and bruises are common injuries that can be treated with natural remedies. Firstly, use direct pressure to stop any bleeding if necessary. Wash the wound with soap and water for several minutes. Gently scrub out any embedded dirt with a washcloth. Be careful not to soak a wound that might need sutures. These wounds tend to be more deep and/or bleed excessively.
[1]. One natural remedy for cuts and bruises is arnica, which has been found to have many medicinal properties,  Applying arnica, 2 – 3 times a day speeds the healing time and improves circulation around a bruise, moving coagulated blood from the area.
[2]. Adding essential oils to topical remedies are great solutions for healing cuts and getting rid of a bruise. Consider essential oils such as Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Oregano, and Tea Tree as they have great antibiotic, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties for cuts.
