Chrysoprase

Properties: This stone allows greater flexibility, wisdom, generosity, and self-confidence. It is used to heal depression, excess self-focus, and emotions/sexual imbalance. Place on the Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, or on the Third Eye Chakra for meditation. This stone uplifts the Heart Chakra. It soothes the energy of the heart when you are “heart heavy”.

It therefore, brings internal peace, harmony and contentment. This stone symbolizes clarity of thought. It soothes the central nervous system and creates calm. It is a stone that leads its user to new and intellectual approaches. When working with Chrysoprase as a healing stone, it must be laid on the body for a long time. Helps one achieve greater personal insight, feel more calm, become less egotistical, and more open to new surroundings and situations.

Stimulates creativity and draws out unknown talents. This stone provides balance between the conscious and the unconscious. A great stones for alleviating nightmares.

Folk Remedies: A great stone for calming the central nervous system. It is used for high blood pressure, and hardening of the arteries. Enhances fertility for both sexes. It is used to ensure good health and a happy marriage. Was historically used to help with gout, mental illness, and eye problems. Seen most effective on glandular disorders.

Feng Shui: Used in the Southwest (relationship, love) and in negative directions (courage, protection). Use in the Center (health) for ensuring good health and longevity.

Crystal Cleansing: method 1 -3 and method 5 – 7

History: Of the quartz family, (SiO2 + Ni), the Greeks named this stone, “golden blossom” because of golden drops which appear to be in the stone. This stone is used in the church of St. Wenceslas in Prague, as large amounts of this stone where found in the mines of Selesia nearby. This stone was a favorite of Frederick the Great. This quartz stone is found in the USSR, Brazil, Australia, and US.

Chrysoprase Elixir

A crystal elixir or gem essence combines the energy of your crystal that is infused in either water or oil. It is often placed in the sun in order for the crystal to imbue the water or oil with the crystal’s energy or Qi and then the decoction is used for healing and anointing.

~ Cleansing a crystal is always a good idea to rid it of energies (negative or otherwise) that it may have picked up during handling and excessive use.
