Coral

Properties:  Coral is not a crystal but has been used for centuries for its healing properties like shells, pearls and resins. Coral is a blend of calcium and calcite. Coral brings diplomacy and concurrence, quiets emotions, brings peace to inner-self. Facilitates intuition, imagination, visualization, expedite, accelerate the transfer of knowledge.

Has a true link with the past and can pass knowledge along. Coral was known as a protective stone against negative energies while also preventing loss of energies.

Folk Remedies: Strengthens both circulatory and bone structure in the body. Stimulates tissue regeneration and nourish blood cells. Helps with disorders of the spinal, alimentary canals, nervous system and thalamus. Different colors of Coral can be used alone, in combination, or all together. Sympathetic to both the skeletal structure and the circulatory system. Good stone for ailments of the bones and blood such as arthritis and anemia. Also benefits the cleansing organs and thymus. Helps battle mental illnesses. Used in folk remedies for protecting against osteoporosis, osteopenia, promoting healthy bone growth in children and the growth of new tissue. White

This is the most common coral, void of color. It soothes, clears and heals the Meridians. Helps one manage with stress, especially when stress effects the back. White coral helps with the ability to smell and soothes the nerves. The calcium and calcite fussed from years and years of small marine creatures, sea debris and living organisms, gives white coral a “living and powerful” nurturing, home energy!

Black Coral

This stone has a deep connection with the deep ocean. (Antipatharia) are a group of deep water, tree-like corals related to sea anemones. They are also found in rare dark shallow water areas such as New Zealand’s Milford Sound where they can be viewed from an underwater observatory or via SCUBA diving. Though black coral’s living tissue is brilliantly colored, it takes its name from the distinctive black or dark brown color of its skeleton. Also unique to black coral are the tiny spines that cover the surface of the skeleton, the origin of the nickname little thorn coral. In the Hawaiian language, black coral is called ‘ēkaha kū moana and is the official state gem of Hawaii. It is believed to promote male fertility, union with the Goddess, conception, and fatherhood. Black coral helps you to be the protector of the mother and child, protector of the family and protector of the Earth.

Cleansing & Charging Coral

~ Cleansing a crystal is always a good idea to rid it of energies (negative or otherwise) that it may have picked up during handling and excessive use.
