Sahasrara: 7th Chakra (Crown Chakra): is associated with conscious thought, Universal identity, and orientation towards self-knowledge. The Crown Chakra relates to Universal consciousness as pure awareness. It is our connection to the greater world unseen. When balanced, this Chakra opens us up to receiving knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection, enlightenment and bliss.

When this Chakra is out of balance, there is a lack of disbelief, lack of trust and poor sense of boundaries. There is a feeling of not having a purpose in life.

The color for this area is violet or white and it is the color that energizes this region. This energy center represents all that is and is divine. The white/violet light is truth and clarity. The symbol of this Chakra is the Lotus.

Life development: The Crown Chakra represents growth and activity from the age of twenty. This is the time when an adult is most likely to begin reacting fully to the world around them. If the adult chooses to continue to develop his mind by asking more in-depth life questions, they can bring in new found mysteries to be unlocked. This is the beginning of self-discovery, unabridged exploration and the spark for the curiosity of life.
