Description
Fuchsite is a variety of muscovite that contains traces of chromium and is colored green. There have been some large finds in Minas Gerais, Brazil, but much of it is miss-labeled as “Fuschite“. It provides for clarity in visions and self-reflection. It can be used during fasting times to help reduce hunger, provide energy, relieve dehydration, bring sparkle to the eyes, sheen to the hair, as well as, help in situations of insomnia and excessive sleep as with mononucleosis. Often found as inclusion with ruby and granite. When found in quartz, this is what gives aventurine its shimmer, known as “aventurescence.”
Fuchsite is a heart stone. Its “sparkle” mends a broken heart and lends itself to the healing of the Heart Chakra. Used by healers all over the world, this verde (green) crystal is also Verdite, a microcrystalline metamorphic rock,composed mostly of green fuchsite.
