This beautiful Blue Sodalite and Chryscolla Spiral is a Machu Picchu original. The PachaMama (mother earth) pendant is handmade by the wonderful Quechua artist, Mana Loo in the Peruvian Andes. It is made of natural semiprecious “Machu Picchu Stone” which is a type of sodalite and chrysoprase found in the area around Machu Picchu. It is also handmade with 950 Silver which is inlaid among the stone representing the Spiral of Life.

The spiral plays a specific role in symbolism. The spiral represents the never-ending cycles of growth, change and eternal life. A spiral is a curve which emanates from a central point, getting progressively farther away as it revolves around the point. It appears in megalithic art and ancient stonework in Machu Picchu.

The circle is an ancient and universal symbol of unity, wholeness, infinity, the goddess and female power (moon) the god and male power (sun). The perfect circle has no beginning and no end.

The bail of the pendant is also graced with a little teardrop sodalite stone.

This pendant sits on a Sterling Silver disk and is also accompanied by a beautiful .925 Sterling Silver chain which measures 24″ inches. The circular pendant itself measures 1 1/4″ inches wide. It comes with cleansing instructions, metaphysical information and an organza bag.
