Emotional Strength
Emotional strength is spiritual. The Universal belief is to recognize a power that is greater than our own is to recognize our emotional/spiritual strength. When we are spiritual we consciously strive to live with new awareness, unconditional love, with faith and understanding. Our emotional strength is marked by a diminished sense of fear and the daily experience of joy, gratitude, and an awareness of an inner source of infinite power and compassion.
Emotional strength also consists of a strong, positive connection to others in community, family, and intimacy with one or more people.
Emotional strength and awareness can be gained through a practice of meditation. Finding spirit and a higher sense of purpose comes to you as you evolve in a yoga practice . Through your yoga practice, you can gain a broader perspective in self awareness. No matter what religion you practice, like any religion, yoga can be a bridge to enhancing your emotional compassion. It is important to commune with nature. Nature connects us to the treasures of the earth.

An Empowerment Journal is a book or record you create to chart progress, make steps to follow and create a journey to building strength. It can be used for writing down experiences you have, words that give you strength and help you to work toward your success! This journal ia a good place to record your information so that you can go back and look at later.
Tips for Power Journaling
1. Empowerment building is about creating balance. Upon waking, pick up your journal and write down a goal for the day. Commit yourself to doing one thing that will empower you today.
2. It is a good idea to focus on one specific thing that will bring about change today, no matter how awkward it may feel. Be focused. Identity: Make a list of traits/strengths that people identify with you. Then make a list of traits/strengths that you identify as yourself.
3. Determination is the key element you must apply to see your goal through today. Be determined Be strong. How do you act according to your decisions? How is your will independant?
4. Jot down an affirmation that you will repeat throughout the day "I am a brilliant, strong life force today", "I am proud of myself and will extend my pride even further today", "I will achieve a strong new goal today". "I feel empowered to..."
5. Standing up for what you believe in is the sign of a confident person. You can achieve this by having faith in what you choose to set as your goal.
6. Having faith in your abilities is trusting your heart's desire. And no one can deny your heart's desire.
7. Take a look at the people or situations that TAKE AWAY yourstrength, write them down. Now, is the time to realize what, when and who disempower you. These are the people or areas of your life you need to detach from.
8. Take a look at your positive attributes. These are your strengths you will use as tools to detach from your disempowering situations and take you further and create the powerful person you choose to be.
9. Reflect on your past empowering times. Use these as stepping stones in order to reach your goal. You have done it before and you will do it again.
10. As you inspire yourself and build your self-esteem, you inspire confidence in others. This natural progression is one of the most rewarding gifts you can receive. Write down 10 items, people, places... which inspire, empower and give you life. How do these inspirations figure into your life. How will you use these as tool to bring out the most potential and radiant you?

What makes us strong? You need to find the right balance that works for you. Strength is about relinquishing weakness, gaining courage and releasing limitations.
1. Courage: is extending yourself beyond your own limitations. Courage is defined as the risk of losing something for the benefit of benefit of something else. Courage is the idea of standing up for what you believe in. Courage is powered by love. It says that you love someone one or something so much that you are willing to take the risk for it.
2. The belief in yourself: We will find strength when we truly believe in ourselves. The more you believe in yourself, the more you will definitely accomplish. When we face situations that are near physical or mental impossibilities, then it is our belief system, or belief in ourselves, that determines IF it is possible.
3. Let Things Go: Learn to let things go once in a while. Learn to recognize the things that do not really have great impact in your life and allow yourself to let them go -- and then not beat yourself up for doing so.
4. Confidence Empowers Strength: Allow confidence in your life and you will let in strength. Being sure of yourself, without doubting or second guessing is the road to confidence. Confidence gives you power and the side effect, is that it makes you even more beautiful! Have the guts to not care what others think and you will become empowered with confidence, which lends itself to great strength.
5. Celebrate All Your Success: This is the one place that is often the most out of balance. Some careers are simply more stressful and time-consuming than others. If you need more time for yourself or your family, now may be the time to explore careers that are less stressful and more flexible. Rather than a career change, you may simply need to take a job you love and feel good in. This always increases your strength, because it is accompanied by something you love to do. There is no greater strength than this.
6. Explore Your Options: Get Help. If you are feeling overwhelmed with your work or family responsibilities, please get help if you can afford it. Find a sitter for your children, explore options for aging parents, and seek counseling for yourself. In many cases, you have options, but you need to take the time to find them.
7. Take Charge. Set Priorities: Sometimes it is easier for us to allow ourselves to feel overwhelmed rather than taking charge and developing a prioritized list of things that need to get done. You need to buck the trend. Develop a list. Set priorities. And then enjoy the satisfaction of crossing things off your list.
8. Simplify: It seems human nature for just about everyone to take on too many tasks and responsibilities, to try to do too much, and to own too much. Find a way to simplify your life. Change your lifestyle. Learn to say no to requests for help. Get rid of the clutter and baggage in your house and your life.
9. Strength Builds By Appreciating The Little Things: Really appreciate when something in your life comes into balance. Acknowledge it. Be grateful.
This empowers and builds inner strength.
10. You Are In Control Of Your Life: With every decision you make you shape your own reality. Strength is simply a matter of knowing what you want and making good decisions. By deciding what you want, making a plan, and actively going for it, you can create the life of your dreams.

Music can address how people interact with their environment and examine how they affect their environment. Music can encourage social interaction among people. The interaction may take the form of talking about thoughts and feelings, contributing to group experiences, cooperating with others or responding to others' needs. Interpersonal interaction can take place through music listening.
