Metatron

Named as one of the rulers of the Seraphim, Metatron is the archangel who is said to preside over the crown (Kether) on the Kabalistic, Tree of Life. Metatron is given the distinct title as the Overseer of all the Archangels, as he is one of two men who were transformed from human (The Prophet Enoch) to angel. Metatron’s name means “thrown sharer (one who guards)”. Metatron writes down the good deeds people do on Earth, as well as what happens in heaven, in the Book of Life (which is also known as the Akashic Record). Metatron is considered to be the spiritual brother of Archangel Sandalphon, the other man (The Prophet Elijah) ascending to heaven to become an angel. Metatron is represented by white light. He was the “light” that appeared to Moses as the burning bush, the light St. Paul encountered on the road to Damascus and the white light often seen by those who have a near-death experience.
