Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals

Tibetan hand cymbals called "Ting-sha" or Ding sha, are apart of the celestial orchestra, played by goddesses of dance, music and song. The Tingsha are individually handcrafted by the ancient Tibetan method of sand-casting. After casting, each individual Tingsha is skillfully tuned by hammering around the thick outer rim to create a perfectly matching pitch for each pair. The bell metal used in the Tingsha is made of a pure bronze alloy of copper and tin with a white metal component of zinc and nickel. This is what gives the chimes their perfect pitch clarity!

There are either swirling dragons OR Chinese characters patterned into the Tingsha. The Dragon is one of the most powerful and revered symbols in Feng Shui. Dragons represent strength, goodness, and the spirit of change and transformation. Qi is described as the Cosmic Breath of the dragon. A well placed dragon can inspire and uplift you throughout your own personal growth and challenges. The Chinese characters represent the "free flow of Qi energy" and allow for the crystal resonance to "sing out".

These bells measure 2 1/2" in diameter with a 15" cord between them. They come in a beautiful pouch.

EMF Blocking Necklace

Electromagnetic fields are present everywhere in our environment but are invisible to the human eye. Electric fields can be produced by the local build-up of electric charges in the atmosphere associated with thunderstorms. They are also produced by man-made sources including X-rays, the electricity that comes out of every power socket, various kinds of higher frequency radio waves via TV antennas, computers, microwaves, radio stations or mobile phone base stations.

Effects on the general health of the public have attributed a diffuse collection of symptoms to low levels of exposure to electromagnetic fields at home. Reported symptoms include headaches, anxiety, suicide and depression, nausea, fatigue and loss of libido.

Black Tourmaline (Schorl) is the best crystal to use against the ill effects of low frequency and high frequency electromagnetic waves (EMF) and protects against smog, radiation, psychic attacks and repels all kinds of negative energy. It grounds energy as it is connected to the Root/Base Chakra. When the tourmaline is rubbed it becomes charged with magnetic electricity.

Wear this necklace when using your computer, microwave or cell phone. Place this necklace in a room to disperse tension and stress. Use this necklace on appliances, your computer, microwave or as a "cell phone charm." It is suggested to use this EMF Blocking Necklace when you feel surrounded by negativity. Tourmaline is a valuable stone for crises and for periods of extreme stress. Helps you defend against debilitating diseases. Strongly suggested for people with weakened immune systems.

Harmonic Generator Crystal

I love this crystal! The Harmonic Generator Crystal is a one of a kind beta quartz generator designed exclusively for Peacefulmind.com by renowned physicist, Dr.Guo-Yuan Yang. Essentially, this crystal has been "programmed" to create attunement with our highest consciousness. To bring its owner into a harmonious or responsive relationship to the alpha waves of the brain using nonlinear optics. Nonlinear optics (NLO) is the branch of optics that describes the behavior of light in nonlinear media, which the dielectric polarization P responds nonlinearly to the electric field E of the light.

Two lasers are used in this process. A pulse laser and a driving laser. High harmonics are generated from a pulse laser with pulse durations shorter than that of the driving laser. This is due to phase matching and ionization. High harmonics are emitted co-linearly with the driving laser in a hexagon shaped quartz crystal. Why a hexagon shaped crystal? The hexagonal prism is a geometric solid that has eight faces and is extremely stable. It is able to organize and stabilize light (and intention) projected into it.

This type of crystal controlled oscillator produces an output rich in harmonics (overtones or multiples) of its fundamental frequency. The lowest-frequency (and highest-intensity) mode of the Schumann resonance is at a frequency of approximately 7.8 Hz. This particular frequency just so happens to be associated with the Alpha waves in our brain, which are most associated with our meditative state. When your alpha is within normal ranges we tend to also experience good moods, see the world truthfully, and have a sense of calmness. These correlate to our highest Chakra consciousness levels of magenta and violet, hence the colors of the crystal. This process creates entrainment with ourselves and the crystal. Entrainment is the tendency of two oscillating bodies to lock into phase, so that they vibrate in harmony. The principle of entrainment is universal. Appearing in chemistry, pharmacology, biology, medicine, psychology, sociology, astronomy, architecture and more. The classic example shows individual pulsing heart muscle cells. When they are brought close together, they begin pulsing in synchronicity.

My Harmonic Generator crystal measures 20 mm and is fastened onto a beautiful silver 16" chain and comes in a lovely silk bag.

Bagua/Reiki Grid Sets

This is a necessity for any feng shui, reiki or energy healer! Many Energy Workers add the subtle vibrations of stone energy as a complement to their healing sessions or daily lives. Usually this includes the laying on of the appropriate colored stones to coordinate with the Bugua areas, Chakra centers, Aura layers, meditating with a particular stone, or wearing the stones as jewelry when the inspiration hits. There are, however, even more uses when stones are set up in a 'Grid' and are properly 'activated'.

Bagua Grids are a way to arrange the stones in a sacred geometric pattern. They are then consciously 'activated' by connecting a 'line of Light' between the stones so that they radiate an energy field in the immediate environment in which they are constructed or are essential for distant healing. Our sets have been graciously Reiki-charged and blessed by Dr.Luna Wells. Create a bagua in any area where you need some help.

Made by nature, each beautiful set includes 6 select tumblestones or points, 1 center stone, 1 crystal wand, 1 Reiki Grid and Complete Instructions. We have designed several Crystal Grids for specific healing and manifesting.

The mysterious and amazing healing power of water has been utilized for centuries. Water cleanses, refreshes and restores all life. We are always drawn to water. Be it a soothing fountain or majestic waterfall. Water is a carrier. It flows. It moves along the line of least resistance. The appeal is inexplicable! We crave water, maybe because our bodies are made up of a large percent of it. Maybe because we instinctively know how it can heal.

Cloisonne Bowls

Cloisonne, also known as cloisonne enamel, is the decorative art of applying enamel of all colors to the surface of a copper or bronze object which is then fired to become a bright and colorful work of art. This artistic technique was transmitted to China from the West and reached its peak of perfection as a result of the concerted efforts of Chinese artisans. Chinese cloisonne whereupon became the standard by which to measure the quality and appraise the beauty of cloisonn?orld-wide. It is one of China's major contributions to the world's fine arts. The general method for making cloisonn?nvolved first soldering brass wires to the surface of a copper object to form a pattern or illustration, then, according to the requirements of each pattern, colored enamels were filled in. Enamelware that had been fired then needed to have its surface polished smooth so that the soldered brass wire pattern and the enamel substance were melded into one. Finally, the exposed brass wires between parts of the patterns as well as the rim and the bottom of an object, to which enamel had no been applied, were gold plated. Thus, a work of cloisonn?rt was finished.

The making of cloisonne is a painstaking process. Each color is separated by the metal wire and then repeatedly filled in with enamel and fired, and then finished with touches of gold. With flower designs on both exterior and interior, this low cloisonne bowl, 5" in diameter 2" in height, suits perfectly for a coffee table display, especially when holding a small quantity of potpourri, water, incense, candles or sage.

Wind and Water

"Allow things in your life which make your heart sing, feed your soul or nourish you on a daily basis."

Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shway) is the ancient Chinese art of placement to enhance the flow of "vital life energy" known as Qi. Practitioners believe that rooms, buildings and all environments can be arranged and decorated in a way that maximizes the flow of Qi and, resulting in improvements to health and happiness of those who live in that environment. Although the translation of Feng Shui basically means "Wind and Water", its scope and breathe are much deeper than this.

Feng Shui is an expression of the oneness and interconnectedness of all things on all levels and all dimensions. This is a "key concept" in understanding how our essence relates to everything else around us, including our environment. As we begin to sense this oneness we then find that it is possible to gain insight from looking at our environment on a broader scale. It is often said that "Feng Shui teaches us what we already know".

Schools of Thought

"A place for everything and everything in its place"

The Art of Feng Shui is just that; an Art. You may have heard that there are several schools of thought in Feng Shui- the Form School, the Compass School and the Intuitve School. Yet another Feng Shui derivative, Blackhat sect is said to have originated in Tibet, is newer, and was introduced to the West by Professor Lin Yun.

Form School is a more traditional Chinese, older form of Feng Shui. This school of feng shui began in southern China. It is based on looking at and evaluating land forms, waterways and geography.

Black Sect Tantric Tibetan School, which has gained popularity in the United States, disregards compass directions. Instead, you stand at and use the entrance of the room, house or office as your main reference point. Then you place objects and other enhancements according to what you aspire to and wish to accomplish.

Both the Form school and the Black Sect are used extensively in the West, and both are good introductions to Feng Shui. The difference is that in Blackhat sect, the career area is centered on the wall that contains the main entrance, while Form school has the career area always in the North.

Compass School is the most predominate practice. The absence of geographical and geological features and the relative flat topography of northern China necessitated the development of the Compass School, which dominates throughout most of the world. This is the traditional, classical feng shui practice which uses either a Chinese (luo pan) or Western-style compass to determine the eight compass directions in a room, office or home. This compass is used to determine the direction in which a building faces, and where the portents will fall based on that direction. Because those directions govern various aspects of your life, you place the corresponding colors, animal symbols, numbers and elements in the areas that you wish to activate.

The ancient text, the I Ching, describes the one universal flow of nature's energy. Feng Shui derives from the ancient Taoist tradition. The I Ching is the definitive text in which all Chinese Metaphysics is based. It includes a full range of techniques that include Chinese Astrology, compass methods, form methods and divining techniques. Feng Shui utilizes two Chinese astrological systems. These are called the Batzu - or "eight word" (also called "the four pillars"). And the Jyo Hsing - or "nine stars" (also called the "north star method" or "study of Qi").

The Bagua

In Feng Shui, a map called a Bagua is used to maximize the Qi or energy of a given environment. The map divides a room into 9 squares of equal size, with each grid corresponding to a specific "gift" in life, such as health, love, and knowledge. The various schools of thought in Feng Shui all use the bagua in one form or another. The bagua, generally an octagon or square divided into nine areas, which are sometimes referred to as "guas", is superimposed over a floor plan of the building, room or property. Blackhat sect and Form school Feng Shui use essentially the same bagua.

The nine areas of the bagua are (clockwise, from the northern area) career, knowledge, family, wealth, fame, marriage, children, and helpful people. The ninth area is the center. Each area is associated with direction, elements, and I Ching trigram (the ancient system of Divination). In arranging a room,  9 areas are noted to be of special significance. The following table, which cooresponds to the Baqua, illustrates the relationship of areas in a room (or home) in relation to the room's Main Entrance. Imagine dividing your room (home, office) into the following 9 areas. We have highlighted the ideal items to enhance the movement of Qi within each location. They are as follows:

Once the bagua is superimposed over the floor plan, one can see what parts of the building, room or property lie in each area of the bagua. Feng Shui may be begun, using the colors and elements to correct deficiencies or an overabundance of an element.

Deficiencies are corrected by adding the needed element or by using its associated color. An overabundance of an element can be corrected by adding its controlling element, by lessening the element itself, or by using the associated colors. For example, if fire were overabundant, then a water element could be added, thereby bringing fire back into balance. See The Five Phases.

Everything is relative to each other. When using the bagua to determine the Feng Shui layout, start with a floor plan of the building and superimpose the bagua over it, as a whole; then apply the bagua to each individual room.

The most important thing to remember when using the bagua is to be consistent, using the same school of Feng Shui throughout the entire building.

Decluttering Your Life

The first lesson is to start small!

  • Start with your desk, a closet, or one room. It is easy to get overwhelmed when decluttering. Do not allow it.
  • 1. I love to clear the space of everything.

  • Take a look at the empty space. Remember when this last occurred? How do you feel in this space now?
  • 2. Take a look at the items you removed.

  • One by one, look over each and every item. Do you absolutely love it? How does it serve you? Is there an emotional attachment to it? Is it a good one or a bad one?
  • 3. Items with bad emotions connected to them

  • or items you do not absolutely love or serve you, get rid of them now!
  • 4. The items that you do love, why do you love them so?

  • How well do they serve you or play a particular purpose? If you save it, find a great place for it, where it will do the most good.
  • 5. Make a pile, box or space for all the items you do not need, want or do not serve you.

  • You can separate them into smaller piles to give them away, gift them or sell them. Throw out the items you wish to discard ASAP. There is an amazing feeling attached to an item (or emotion) we let go of!!
  • 6. Note on giving or gifting items:

  • Charities such as the Salvation Army, shelters or churches are usually very happy to take the items you wish to give them. They usually prefer clothes to be cleaned or dry cleaned.
  • The items you decide to gift should be something very special to a specific person who you feel would really love the item or could really benefit from it. Do not just gift it to get rid of it. It is better to just throw it out if you cannot find an appropriate outlet for it!
  • 7. The power of letting go offers the possibility of two types of peace:

  • peace of mind -- the potential healing of old emotional connections, wounds, or a clearer consciousness and...
  • peace with others -- the possibility of new, more gratifying relationships in the future.
  • 8. It takes no strength to let go. . . only courage.

  • Life either expands or contracts in direct proportion to your courage to let go.
  • 9. By giving this fear up to the Universe to handle...

  • you are essentially allowing yourself to let go and release this fear, and in turn, strip away any kind of meaning or significance it may have upon you.
  • 10. By letting go, this allows us to move to the next level in our lives, the next natural process. Often times, this is a fear in itself.

  • The fear of "what will happen when I DO move to my next stage in life?" Remember, feeling protected always comes by letting go of that fear.

Yin and Yang

Yin and yang are two words we frequently hear in connection with balance. Yin is generally thought of as being feminine, while yang is considered masculine, But there is much more to this. -- Yin is also related to the earth, moon, darkness, shade, rest, space, west and north. Yang on the other hand is related to light, sun, brightness, heaven, time, south, east and left.

In ancient times when the daily cycle of night and day were noted, it was thought that day corresponded to yang and yin corresponded to night. Since one usually traveled and worked during the day, yang came to be associated with activity, while yin came to be associated with rest because at night, one rested.

Yin and Yang are looked at in four distinct ways. Yin and Yang are in:

Opposition: in relation/relative to each other.

Interdependent: you cannot have one without the other.

Mutual Consumption: control and balance one another.

Intertransformation: one transforms into the other at it's Zenith.

-Yin and Yang exsist in everything in the Universe in relationship to each other. The duality of the universe and the world around us is expressed in this "Tai Chi," symbol (often, mistakenly called the Yin/Yang symbol) a circle created by a light and a dark side, positioned end to end with one small circle of yin in yang and yang in yin. This is the presence of its complement. This has been accepted for several thousand years in Chinese philosophy, but the acknowledgment that every male has a feminine aspect, and every female has a male side, is new to the Western mind and medicine. Together, yin and yang comprise a whole, and yet there is an element of each in the other. But sometimes we have too much yang, and other times, we have too much yin. It is up to us to find and maintain the balance between the two in our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, sexual and intellectual selves. Achieving this balance helps us become grounded or centered.

Qi

Qi, often referred to as "life force", or "energy" is that which flows through all things. Qi is containing, activating, transporting, protecting and warming. Qi is something that cannot be seen or recorded but yet, inevidably, is upon and within all things.

"Qi is the thread connecting all beings. Qi is the common denominator of all things-from mineral to human. Qi is the fundamental quality of being and becoming."1.

As a concept, which is truly ethereal, it is the most deeply rooted intution in Chinese civilization. Qi is like the wind, a natural element and energy source that is constantly flowing all around us. We cannot see it, but we know it exists by the way it affects the physical around us. Qi is also like water, an energy source that can be governed to where it is needed and be more beneficial to our well-being. At the same time, Qi like water, also cycles constantly from one phase to another. It is a cycle that, if broken or interrupted, will affect everything else that depends on the continuity of this cycle.

Secret Arrows

Also known as poison arrows or "sha" are sharp angles that focus a point of harmful energy. These arrows are usually projected out from sharp cornered furniture or interior walls. The areas or sites, which are damp, crowded, hollow, flat or have straight lines are objects, which project this "sha" or negative energy. The edges of a neighbor's roof, railway tracks, telephone lines all weaken Qi energy and create these secret arrows. Even nature creates her own poison arrows, such as rivers running straight and fast, sharp cliffs or vertical gaps in mountain ranges. The general rule states: all organic curving lines in landscape including houses or objects, express flowing Qi. Whereas, straight, rectangular lines attract secret, poison arrows or "sha".

The Five Phases

Certain fundamentals of Chinese Medicine must be understood when working with one's constitution. One such fundamental is the Five Phases (Elements) Theory, which states there are five interrelated elements:

fire, earth, metal, water and wood.

Each element has certain characteristics, emotional, interpersonal and physical manifestations. Learn more about each element:

Fire

Earth

Metal

Water

Wood

The following are the ways (or cycles) in which the elements of nature are interrelated. These are the two balanced/physiological cycles:

"Sheng"-Generating/Nourishing (Creative) Cycle

In this cycle, one element generates/nourishes or creates the following element. The nourished element is also known as the child element. The nourishing element is known as the mother element. This is an important aspect of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The pattern is:

* Fire nourishes earth

* Earth nourishes metal

* Metal nourishes water

* Water nourishes wood

* Wood nourishes fire

"Ke"-Controlling/Overcoming (Destructive) Cycle
Even as each element nourishes another, it also controls an element. The controlling element is sometimes referred to as the grandmother element. This cycle is as follows:

* Fire controls metal

* Metal controls wood

* Wood controls earth

* Earth controls water

* Water controls fire

There are two out of balance/pathological cycles:

Overacting Cycle

The overacting cycle is much the same as the controlling cycle, but in the overacting cycle, one of two things has occurred: The controlled element has become weakened (deficient) to the point that the controlling element is now over powering it, or the controlling element has become so strong (excess) that it is suppressing the controlled element.

Insulting Cycle

In this cycle, the controlled element has either become excess to point of rebelling against the controlling element, or the controlling element has become deficient to the point of being overpowered by the controlled element. This cycle is as follows:

* Metal insults fire

* Fire insults water

* Water insults earth

* Earth insults wood

* Wood insults metal

All the elements are mutually inhibitive and at the same time mutually creative: wood creates fire, fire creates earth, earth creates metal, metal creates water, and water creates wood. Conversely, water inhibits fire, fire inhibits metal, metal inhibits wood, wood inhibits earth, and earth inhibits water.

Learn to love them for who they are, not what you want them to be.

8. Stay Spiritual.

Giving thanks to the Universe/Ultimate Power/Godhead is powerful. Religion is a bridge to spirituality. You don't have to go to a church or synagogue in order to be spiritual. Spirit is everywhere. Spirit is energy and it is in all things. The best part is being aware of it.

Top 10 Crystals for Feng Shui

by Andrew Pacholyk, MS, L.Ac.

Feng Shui and gemstones go hand in hand. Crystals are a very popular feng shui cure since their natural energies can be used to gently protect, clear and nourish energies within our environment. Crystals for feng shui purposes are based on their metaphysical properties, mineral makeup, color and shape. The choice depends on which crystalline energy you want to bring into your surrounding space. Match the colors to the Bagua areas where you can use good energy. Also see feng shui crystal cures and remedies and feng shui cures.

Amber is said to bring good luck and success. In the far East amber is the symbol of courage. This ancient petrified resin has electromagnetic properties. It is excellent at detoxification and protection from radiation, especially x-rays, sun, computers, airport, planes and other people's energies. Due to its strong connection to nature and the earth, amber is a great stone for grounding our higher energies. Use amber as a feng shui remedy.

Amethyst is a crystal most associated with transformation, spirituality and dream recall. Provides common sense and flexibility in decisions. Strengthens and enhances psychic abilities, imagery and mind quieting. Wear when sleeping or when awake to reduce anger, depression, grief, impatience, and nightmares. Amethyst can show us how to let go, trust and surrender. Amethyst is considered a Master Healing stone. Use amethyst as a feng shui remedy.

Aqua Aura is clear quartz with metallic light blue tint from electrical infusion of gold (amplifies quartz conductivity). Created by treating crystals of natural quartz with an infusion of pure gold. This is truly a `master' vibrational crystal. As with all energies, the conscious use of this energy towards enlightenment is always the prime goal. Aqua Aura has an energy that can enhance one's intuition and communication, calm one's nerves, and energize one's mental abilities. It is also said to help one's inner beauty to shine, and to attract wealth and success. Use aqua aura as a feng shui remedy.

Carnelian represents confidence, boldness, initiative, dramatic abilities, assertiveness and nothingness. Precision, analysis, stimulates appetite, encourages celebration and brings awareness of feelings. This stone helps you feel anchored and comfortable with your surroundings. Provides a connection to the past or to historical events. Carnelian can improve motivation. Helps one achieve greater success in career or personal matters. Helps ground people who meditate. Carnelian is one of the most helpful crystals for healing trauma, stress and emotional wounds that have accumulated in the etheric body or the Aura and are now manifesting as physical symptoms. Use carnelian as a feng shui remedy.

Citrine is especially good for the workplace as it helps with problem solving, memory issues, will power, optimism, confidence and self-discipline. It reduces anxiety, fear and depression. Can guide you to harness and utilize your creative energy. Helps us analyze events, develop inner calm and security and makes us less sensitive and more open to constructive criticism. This stone is great with help in achieving goals. Citrine is the stone of abundance. It teaches us the lessons of achieving wealth and prosperity. Not just on a monetary level, but in all aspects of our lives. Use citrine as a feng shui remedy.

Jade is an ancient stone that has historically been used to attract love. The ancient Chinese culture has revered Jade for centuries. Jade is considered the health, wealth and longevity stone. Traditionally, Jade symbolizes the Five Virtues of Humanity : wisdom, justice, compassion, modesty and courage. Quartz (Clear) is the Master Healer and the "stone of power"! Probably the most versatile multipurpose healing stone. The natural tendency for quartz is for harmony. Quartz can both draw and send energy therefore it is effective for sending/receiving guidance. Quartz is used for transformation in healing and in all levels of change. Quartz stimulates the natural crystal in body tissues and fluids to resonate at the highest healing frequency. Clear quartz is thought to amplify both body energy and thoughts. It can assist in the creation of power, clarity of thinking, meditation, cleansing, clearing the aura, spiritual development and healing. Use quartz as a feng shui remedy.

Rose Quartz is said to open the heart to the beauty in and around you. Keep no more than two rose quartz in the relationship area of your bedroom or two stones close to your bed. Rose Quartz has a loving, healing energy associated with the heart. It brings about a strong sense and flow of love as its heart-opening properties encourage more self love and the love in an intimate relationship. Use rose quartz as a feng shui remedy.

Tourmaline, Black (Schorl) is one of my favorite for the workplace as it is the best crystal to use against the ill effects of low frequency and high frequency electromagnetic waves (EMF). It protects against smog, radiation and repels all kinds of negative energy. Great near computers, phones and outlets. As a grounding stone, black tourmaline can be used whenever energy feels scattered and disconnected. Use black tourmaline as a feng shui remedy.

Two exceptional non-crystalline energies:

Pearl are a symbol of pure heart and mind; innocence and faith. Because it is from the sea, it has watery and lunar elements, therefore it is used for balancing emotions. Absorbing by nature, this mineral absorbs thoughts and emotions. If you feel excessively negative while wearing a pearl, it will hold that energy until it is cleansed. Remember, Pearl is the result of layer upon layer of substance produced to combat irritation. Pearl can cool and soothe. It is very nurturing. Use pearl as a feng shui remedy.

Swarovski Crystal is not natural crystal. It is a combination of silica or sand, a salt form, referred to as soda, burnt limestone, which is considered lime and trace amounts of metal oxides. When heated at a very high temperature, these substances melt together forming an exceptionally hard and highly refractive glass. Because of their own secret recipe, the Swarovski Company could facet this glass like a gemstone and make it sparkle like a crystal. The Swarovski "lead crystal" process has exacting standards created in its own factories, controlling every step in their production. The company's founder even invented a machine to facet the crystal glass with impeccable accuracy. Use Swarovski crystal as a feng shui remedy.

The Four Trines

***(This information was graciously provided by author Shelly Wu. Please be sure and visit her site at www.chineseastrology.com)

The twelve Chinese Zodiac signs are divided into four categories of three signs each, known as Trines:

The First Trine

The first trine consists of the Rat, Dragon, and Monkey. These three signs are intense and powerful individuals, capable of great good or great evil. They make great leaders, but the three may have different approaches. Frustrated when slowed down or delayed, these signs are ruled by highly potent energy and unpredictability. At their worst, Rats are ruthlessly power hungry, vindictive, and Malevolent. Dragons are inflexible megalomaniacs and dogmatists. Monkeys are destructive manipulators and hedonists. They are intelligent, magnanimous, charismatic, charming, authoritative, confident, eloquent and artistic. They can also be tyrannical, bombastic, prejudiced, deceitful, imperious and ruthless.

The Second Trine

The second trine consists of the Ox, Snake, and Rooster. These three soulmates conquer life through endurance, application, and slow accumulation of energy. Although each sign is fixed and rigid in opinions and views, they are genius in the art of meticulous planning. They are hardworking, discreet, modest, industrious, charitable, loyal, punctual, philosophical, patient, and good-hearted individuals with high moral standards. They can also be self-righteous, vain, critical, judgemental, narrow-minded, petty, and pessimistic.

The Third Trine

The third trine consists of the Tiger, Horse, and Dog. These three signs seek one another and are like-minded in their pursuit of humanitarian causes. Each is a gifted orator and excels at verbal communication. Relationships and personal contact are of highest priority and each one seek their intimate soulmate. Idealistic and impulsive, these animals follow the beat of their own drummer. Defiant against injustice, these three signs wilt without large amounts of physical affection and loyal support for causes. They are productive, enthusiastic, independent, engaging, dynamic, and honourable. They can also be rash, rebellious, quarrelsome, hot-headed, reckless, anxious, moody, disagreeable, stubborn, and selfish.

The Fourth Trine

The fourth trine consists of the Rabbit, Sheep and Pig. The quest for these three signs is the aesthetic and beautiful in life. Their calm nature gives them great leadership abilities. They are artistic, refined, intuitive, and well-mannered. These souls love the preliminaries in love, and are fine artists in their lovemaking. These animals have been bestowed with calmer natures than the other 9 signs. These three are compassionately aware, yet detached and resigned to their condition. They seek beauty and a sensitive lover. They are caring, unique, self-sacrificing, obliging, sensible, creative, empathetic, tactful, and prudent. They can also be naive, pedantic, insecure, cunning, indecisive and pessimistic.

The Birth Month

The animal representing your birth month determines your "inner persona"; the person you wish you could be.

The Birth Time

The secret animal is thought to be a person's "secret persona" or your truest representation, since this animal is determined by the smallest denominator: a person's birth hour. This animal represents the person you are but, that you prevent the rest of the world from knowing about.

The Chinese Zodiac is based on astrology so those 2-hour increments of time coincide with the position of the sun in the sky, not the time on your local clock. Remember: The sun's position isn't lead by daylight savings time or Greenwich mean time so be sure you’re calculating your birth time accurately or you may end up with the wrong secret animal.

The Five Personalities

In psychology, the Big Five personality traits are five broad domains or dimensions of personality that are used to describe human personality. The theory based on the Big Five factors is called the Five Factor Model(FFM). The Big Five factors are:

Openness: (inventive/curious vs. consistent/cautious). Appreciation for art, emotion, adventure, unusual ideas, curiosity, and variety of experience. Openness reflects the degree of intellectual curiosity, creativity and a preference for novelty and variety. Some disagreement remains about how to interpret the openness factor, which is sometimes called "intellect" rather than openness to experience. want to know more?

Conscientiousness: (efficient/organized vs. easy-going/careless). A tendency to show self-discipline, act dutifully, and aim for achievement; planned rather than spontaneous behavior; organized, and dependable. want to know more?

Extraversion: (outgoing/energetic vs. solitary/reserved). Energy, positive emotions, surgency, assertiveness, sociability and the tendency to seek stimulation in the company of others, and talkativeness. want to know more?

Agreeableness: (friendly/compassionate vs. cold/unkind). A tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than suspicious and antagonistic towards others. want to know more?

Neuroticism: (sensitive/nervous vs. secure/confident). The tendency to experience unpleasant emotions easily, such as anger, anxiety, depression, or vulnerability. Neuroticism also refers to the degree of emotional stability and impulse control, and is sometimes referred by its low pole – "emotional stability". want to know more?

The Big Five model is a comprehensive, empirical, data-driven research finding. Identifying the traits and structure of human personality has been one of the most fundamental goals in all of psychology. The five broad factors were discovered and defined by several independent sets of researchers. These researchers began by studying known personality traits and then factor-analyzing hundreds of measures of these traits (in self-report and questionnaire data, peer ratings, and objective measures from experimental settings) in order to find the underlying factors of personality.
