Working With Candle Energy
When working with candles, you can be as simplistic or as complicated as you would like to make it. We suggest that you always charge your candle before lighting it.
Sit in a quiet place hold the candle in your hands at heart level and visualize the area in your life you want charged (changed). This will personalize your connections with the candle and allow the needed energy to come to you in a more direct way. Begin by using a positive affirmation (our candles come with one), then expand on it based on your specific situation.
You get as much out of a candle (or anything) as you put into it. You must create your own reality through the use of your energy, emotions and visualizations. What you wish to create may come immediately or it may take some time. Experience shows that results are only realized at the appropriate time (the Universal time, not your own)! This allows us a great lesson.
1. Any time you light a candle, always state your true intention and end with a positive affirmation.
2. Burn a candle based on the color you need.
3. Use the seven colors of the Chakra and light these small candles to release the color into the room. The rainbow colors have an amazing healing power when lit all together.
4. Burn a candle for meditation. Sit in front of the candle and concentrate on the light.

Candle Safety Tips
1. Please observe the following safety tips whenever you use candles.
2. Always keep a burning candle within sight.
3. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
4. Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets.
5. Always extinguish all candles before leaving the house.
6. Always read and follow the manufacturer?s instructions carefully.
7. Trim wicks to 1/4 inch prior to each use unless the instructions tell you to do otherwise. This helps regulate the flame height and can reduce smoking.
8. Always use an appropriate candleholder place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
9. Keep burning candles away from drafts. This can alter the candles performance, burn time and keeps the wax burning evenly.
10. Extinguish the flame if it comes too close to the holder or container,
typically when 1 - 2 inches of wax remains for most candles and 1/2 inch for container or jar candles.
Making a sacred space of your own, whether it be an alter, meditation
space, area for healing work or just room for you to breath, can be a fun and exciting choice.
1. First, find a space to use on a regular basis for "your" space.
Doing this, conditions your mind to become familiar and therefore feel
relaxed once you are in the space, as it allows you to ascend. In
time, just sitting in your space will immediately relax you.
Your space can be a small area in your home where you can sit with
your eyes closed for at least a few minutes each day. Choose a clean,
quiet place away from all distractions where you can sit on a chair
or on the floor. If you use a chair, choose one that allows you to
keep your back as straight as possible. If you sit on the floor, you
may want to lean your back against something so that you can keep it
straight.
2. Whatever area you choose to use, you first want to cleanse/clear
that space.
Space clearing can be done on a physical level by decluttering your
surroundings. It can also be done on a metaphysical level with such
tools as herbs, salts, crystals, incense, oils and yes, intention.
Our special candles are a safe and effective way to
clear and cleanse any space of negative energy. Candles are self objects. an object that is a reflection of our self.
Energy in itself, is the vital source, which
radiates from everything and everyone around us. When we are ill,
emotionally upset, angered or imbalanced, our moods and of course,
our energy is altered. Coming in contact with energy that is negative
can often be sensed, even felt. The result is often a feeling of
uneasiness, confusion or an opposed feeling to our current state of
mind. Cleansing your space with a candle is a way to use both fire and scent to clear a room.
Cleansing a room with your candle can be done by first stating your intention. Why
are you cleansing this space?
Adding herbs or essential oils to clearing can give an added bonus to
cleansing. Herbs such as lavender, sandalwood, tea tree, thyme, and
rosemary are all good compliments. When using herbs, massage some essential oil on the candle, then rub the herbs on
the candle. Light your candle and you can either walk around your space with it, clearing out the corners or place the candle in
a holder and allow it to slowly penetrate the room.
3. For a few days just sit quietly in your space for five to ten
minutes. This will help establish your energy.
4. Before you sit, consider using the following "tools" to help
increase your intention for the space.
a.) You may light a candle or some incense, if you like. Eventually,
lighting the candle or incense will signal your brain that it's time
for "sacred time".
b.) Place in your space only items you absolutely love
unconditionally. Do not place it there just because you think it
belongs there. These "tools" should be items that empower you, give
you strength, energy and allow you to feel good.
c.) Add your most special crystals into your space. You can create a
border with them or design an area or "cluster" just for them.
d.) Remember, this is a living, breathing space, so any items that
served you this day, may not serve you tomorrow. So feel free to
bring into your space different items (or tools) that work for
your that day.
e.) Now, sprinkle with intention. Intention is a tool that can be
used to bring about change. With clear intent, we formulate a greater
deliberateness in order to achieve the end result.
The Map of Intention
When you break down the process of what true intention really is, you
will find a process that unfolds before you. By applying this
process, you create your intention. Here is how you map out your
intentions:
1. Have purpose : Your reason behind your intention is purpose.
Having a purpose infers a more determined path.
2. Design your intent : This suggests a more careful, laid out and
calculated plan of action. What, when, why where, how.
3. Improve your aim : By improving your aim, you add to your
implications or target effort directed toward attaining your
intention.
4. Gain your objective : Create a clear objective by aiming for
something tangible and immediately attainable.
5. Reach your goal : The goal is the result of your intention, put
into action and attaining it by thought out effort and un-waiving
focus.
You have now created your sacred space. Bring to it what you want.
Use it for what it is and allow it to remain sacred.
Sacred Shapes Applied to Candle Therapy
The following shapes and colors have a Universal meaning, yet in almost every religion, culture and part of the world, they have their own specific meaning to go along side these definitions.
These shapes are Universally recognized and play a part of our subconscious mind in one way or another. Place candles in these configurations with motivation and your true intention, in order to help you achieve your goals. You can place candles in these shapes on the floor and meditate within them, as well.
Circle: An ancient and universal symbol of unity, wholeness, infinity, the goddess, and female power. A romantic attachment or deep friendship and a sacred space. The circle symbolizes the sacred and spiritual including the "sacred" earth.
Diamond: Because of its perfect symmetry, the diamond vibrates toward harmony. This makes it an excellent shape for meditation gardens or those used for culinary purposes. As this shape also vibrates toward the solidity of Earth, it?s a good bet for magical gardens involving prosperity and abundance, and issues of the family, home, and hearth.
Hearts: generally, hearts represent love, but may also indicate a romantic disposition. True love, happiness, financial gain, lasting love, and love for others.
Octagon: Eight denotes the intermediary region between earth and heaven or, microcosm, between body and spirit; and the octagon is a symbol of the "best" part of psychic substance that is the vehicle of spiritual light. The octagon expresses the nearness to heaven of the psychic elements in question, and by being almost circular in form it expresses their all but spiritual nature.
Oval: This voluptuous and feminine shape not only represents completeness, but is also a symbol of the infinite. It conjures up the idea of wisdom and the power of longevity and for all eternity.
Rectangle: The rectangle symbolizes the female form. Intelligence; Protector; Divine contemplation. The rectangle also symbolizes the equilibration of the fourfold forces.
Square: The square represents the physical world. Like the quartered circle, it points pagans to the four compass directions: north, east, south and west.
Star: are drawn by ambitious people and may suggest a desire for self-promotion. Little stars indicate optimism, while asymmetrical stars suggest excess energy. A sign of hope, love, joy and prosperity, protection against fires, good fortune, hope, love, fertility, energy and harmony
Triangle : Associated with the number three. Pointing upwards, it symbolizes fire, male power, good luck; Pointing down, it symbolizes water, female sexuality, goddess, religions, take care.
